Some of the requirements of these positions included holding office hours, assisting students with preparing presentations and grading homework. While pursuing my undergraduate degree I completed a three year Teaching Certification Module. This certification allows me to teach in my home country of Romania. The hands-on pedagogical training gave me the opportunity of teaching 12th grade Physics. for a semester. Theoretical training included classes on: Curriculum Development, Instructive Teaching Methodologies, Fundamentals of Pedagogy, Student Evaluation Methodologies and Classroom Management. Growing-up I have acquired a love and respect of teaching from my parents, who taught their whole lives. The above mentioned teaching opportunities solidified my decision of pursuing a teaching career. Some of my skills are: patience, thoroughness, positive nature and adaptability. I usually prefer meeting at the UMD campus (e.g., in Hornbake Library). Depending on the circumstance, I can drive to your location. |
| Hobbies: | I love making chocolates and baking, because of the joy they bring people. Walking around the city and running are also favorite pastime activities. |
