|Experience:||I am a math grad student at the University of MD with seven years of experience tutoring math and math SAT prep. I have worked together with parents and teachers to help my students grasp difficult math
concepts, learn to think critically, and often even grow to love math. I tutor students from elementary school through most undergraduate math courses.
I began to do SAT math prep after talking to a student who was felt he hadn't learned much at his expensive SAT prep course. He had done countless practice tests during his classes there, but he felt he still didn't grasp the basic concepts. Working one-on-one with me, he was able to really understand the math and, as a result, improved his score significantly.
I tutor because is rewarding to see my students have an 'aha!' moment as they figure out a tricky problem. It is wonderful to see them become self-confident as they feel more comfortable doing math. It has also been fun getting to know the students -- I have attended their musicals, tennis matches, acrobatics shows, and graduations.
I have excellent references! Please contact me if you'd like to speak to parents of my current students or if you'd like a copy of my resume.

Neza is an excellent tutor. My son showed improvement on his test after one hour with her. She is very professional and reliable. When she had to reschedule, she informed me right away.
Highly recommended. Has been tutoring my daughter in AP Calculus for over four months. She's been very effective, reasonably flexible in terms of schedule, and very responsive. Has made a real difference for my daughter to keep up with this truly college-level class, including by talking through and practicing with her concepts that are not fully grasped the first time around.
