I graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a degree in Biochemistry and mathematics minor (GPA: 3.9). I am applying to medical school and currently work at the Children's National Medical Center.

Experience

I have been tutoring for the past four years. I really enjoy helping people, and I feel I help students to understand concepts better in a fun way. As a biochemistry major, I did take many hard science, math, and physics classes and I realize that certain material can be hard to grasp sometimes. I approach each student individually, identify their weaknesses and strong points, and customize a learning plan that will be most effective for them.

Hobbies

I was a huge nerd in college and I love to learn. One of the reason I love working at a hospital is because I am able to learn something new everyday. When I am not at work, I am playing football. I play on two all girls football teams. I also love to dance. I was taking samba lessons, but have currently put those on hold until football season ends. I am very positive and have a lot of energy and I am great at motivating people, regardless of the task.
