I graduated from Old Dominion University with a Bachelor's Degree in political science and government. I am currently attending graduate school at the University of Maryland College Park and am working on completing a degree in geography. I have extensive experience teaching both music and social studies. I also have a lot of experience teaching students in a variety of other subjects, including geography, government, psychology, world history, and regional courses concerning Asia and Latin America. I am comfortable tutoring students in a wide range of subject areas, such as college English, American history, music, English, reading, world history, European history, special education, music theory, piano, social studies, United States government and politics, geography, and comparative government and politics. I am also available to help students prepare for standardized tests, including the SAT and the SAT subject tests. I am also experienced with working with students in both group settings and with students on an individual level. This experience has allowed me to understand that every student has their own unique way of learning. Thus, it is imperative to adapt the way I teach to help my students get the most out of their tutoring sessions I enjoy music, politics, and IT.
