I am a tutor who excels in mathematics and loves working with students. I'm available to help students who may be struggling with algebra, elementary math, middle & high school math, geometry, arithmetic, pre-calculus, trigonometry, and a variety of other math subjects. I received my degree from University of Maryland College Park in Fall of 2015. I highly value learning and I know how important education is if someone wants to be successful in life. I was a very involved student during my time at UMD. I was apart of a mentoring program know at CMB (Campus Mentoring Bigs) and also served as a tutor for incoming freshman students. I know that every student is unique and has their own way of learning. As a tutor I make sure to use a teaching approach and tools that work best for the student. I believe that all of my students can succeed, and it is a privilege to watch them achieve their academic goals. I tutor because I enjoy providing students a pathway to success and showing our youth that "being smart" is not a predetermined trait. When I'm not tutoring or working, I enjoy playing & watching sports, reading, and embarking on new adventures.
