Experience

I was a math, reading, and creative writing tutor for grades 1-6 at Progressive Learning center for 3 years. I have been playing the violin for 10 years and I tutor kids from Whitehall Elementary school (ages 4-12.) I am also a part of the UMD Writing for Change Program that partners with Northwestern High School and I work with 9th graders on writing and cultural Conflict. I want to be a tutor because growing up I wasn't always able to understand everything in class and tutors played a huge part in helping me build my general education skills and now I want to return the favor.
