Experience
I completed my PhD at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) where most recently I worked as a statistician and research associate. While at UAB, I also served as a teaching assistant for undergraduate social statistics and graduate data management/statistics. These responsibilities included teaching the undergraduate statistics labs, grading assignments, answering questions, and assisting students with their homework. Besides serving as a teaching assistant at a university, I also have experience volunteering as a tutor for high school age students through Grace House Ministries. I have taken several courses in statistics, research methods, epidemiology, public health, and sociology at the undergraduate and graduate levels (GPAs of 3.92 and 3.91, respectively). Although I love statistics, I know this particular subject is one of the least popular and can be a struggle for many. With my significant teaching and tutoring experience, I can help you get through your courses with reliable and accurate information. Given my educational background and extensive training and experience in public health research, I can also help you with epidemiology, public health, and the social sciences. If you have any questions, I am happy to help so please do not hesitate to contact me!
